Cooperative Marketing Opportunities

The Saratoga Rotary Home and Garden Show is encouraging the exhibiting companies at this year’s event to get involved by promoting their booth at the show and drive visitors to their business. There are a number of simple marketing steps that can be taken that can entice the public to come to the show and to stop by to see what is new in the market place for 2012.
- Include a tag line in current print and radio advertising inviting the public to visit you at booth such and such .at the show.
- Exhibiting companies may want to have a door prize requiring visitors to fill out a slip containing email addresses etc. giving you a list of potential customers. Possibly take advantage of the fact that the Grand Door Prize at the show is a 46” flat screen TV. No cost to your company but a possible draw to the show.
- Include the fact that you are exhibiting at the show on your facebook page. Include the home show web site address / link on your site for a $1.00 off and admission coupon. - Take advantage of the internet and share the ad for the Show with your customers by simply emailing the ad provided by Rotary (the ad is available as a separate PDF file included below) along with a personal note from you inviting them to come see you at booth such and such. Think of the impact this can have if just 100 of the exhibiting companies sends this message to just 50 customers…. That’s 5,000 families that saw the ad.
- Post the flier and or the point of sale promotional counter top stand in you place of business promoting the show
- Distribute the 15 free admission passes that you well receive with your show packet
Exhibitors should feel confident that the Saratoga Rotary Club is committed to do all in their power to bring visitors to the show. However, to bring it over the top everyone involved including the companies that are exhibiting can help create a successful event. Everyone wins if an extra 1000 people come to the show.
